FREQUENTLY ASKED
QUESTIONS ABOUT BAR STOOLS AND CHAIRS
Q. I'm intersted in a swivel
stool but would like to eliminate the swivel option.
Can I order a swivel stool without that option?
A. Yes, we can make sure that the stools that
you order are welded so that they don't swivel. There
is an additional charge of $8.00 per stool to have this
added to your order.
Q. The swivel component on
my bar stool or swivel chair isn't working properly.
What can I do to fix the problem?
A. If you have a problem with a swivel component
on your bar stool or swivel chair. Please give us a
call about your problem. We have a lifetime warranty
on the swivel components on our furniture. We will be
more than happy to replace the swivel component on your
product. You must have your receipt to confirm that
you purchased your stool or chair from us. We will ship
you the component so that you can replace it.
Q. Can I get a stool custom
stained to match my kitchen cabinets?
A. Yes, we can match the stain that is on your
kitchen cabinets, countertop or other furniture that
may be in the same room as your bar stools. Special
arrangements will have to be made to have this performed.
We will require you to mail a minimum size sample of
2" X 3" so that your sample can be digitally
remastered for the staining process. This will add extra
time to your order since you will have to send in your
sample. The digital process will also add extra time
in getting your order sent out due to this special request.
Please call us at 888-808-6980 if your order requires
this treatement, we will be more than happy to handle
your request.
Q. Can I send in my own material
and have it put on the furniture product?
A. Yes, we call this C.O.M. short for Customer
Owned Material. In order to do this you must mail it
to our manufacturer. The only manufacturers that will do this are Holland Bar Stool Company and Tempo Industries. For each seat they will need a
1 yard minimum and the actual amount per stool is around
1/2 yard. This will add extra time for your order to be received.
Q. Is there a difference
in a "bar stool " and a "counter stools?"
A. Counter Stools are normally 24" to 26"
from the floor to the top of the seat. This is the average
height stool that will be needed for most kitchen counter
tops. In some instances kitchen counter stools may have
to be higher if a counter measures 40" - 42"
from the floor. This is the same as a bar stool. The
only difference is to be sure that you measure the height
of the kitchen counter top or bar top to the floor.
Q. Should I make special
arrangements to unload my delivery at my residential
address?
A. This is not neccessary, but you can make arrangements
if you want. Bar stools and chairs are packaged at a
weight around 35 -37 pounds. Tables with glass will
be heavier however.
Q. Are the colors, fabric
textures, stains, and powder coat finishes on this furniture
website accurate?
A. Much time has gone into accurately replicating
the images on this website. Please be aware that different
computer monitors, video cards and printers will have differences
in appearance. The best way to confirm a fabric, stain,
or powder coat is to request free samples if they are available or to consult with one of our phone representatives at 888-808-6980.
Q. Are there bar stool and
chair warranties?
A. There are warranties on our products. More
information relating to warranties can be found here.
Q. Can I change my mind about
an order after is has been placed?
A. If you decide to cancel and order, please
call us immediately so that production on your products
can be stopped. Normally, it takes a few days before
the order is actually being created. We can stop the
order but there will be a cancellation fee that will
be charged to you. Once an order is in production we
cannot refund your money or cancel the order because
the custom product is all ready in production.
Q. Can I trust your online
ordering system with my credit card?
A. We use the largest gateway/processor in the
world "Authorize.net". Our system does not
allow us to view your credit card information and is
not stored anywhere. It goes directly to the third party
credit-card processor that is in compliance with e-commerce
guidelines. In the past customers have added to their
order and called in to see if this can be added to their
online order that was placed. We have to gather your
information over the phone and enter it into our terminal
to complete these types of transactions. We do not keep
any of this information to protect you from identity
theft.

tax on my order to Apex Seating Company?
